their money is more important to them than someone else's life. this really seems strange and immoral to me. now i know that not all conservatives are this way, so dont get me wrong. but indeed, many are.

In discussing the difference between iraq spending and government assisted healthcare, andy stated this:

1- if you think we shouldn't be building hospitals in Iraq what do you think of Mexican women getting free hospital care when they cross the border to have their baby?

now, this really set off a bell in my head. he is obviously stating that this healthcare is a bad thing. but i completely support this woman. if having her child in our country would prevent that child from growing up in the horrendously awful mexico, i would pay for her care myself. it shouldnt be an issue about money when a child can grow up with a great opportunity compared to a terrible one. so i have no problem with using my tax dollars on this type of care. what are your takes on this?

Thank you for volunteering to pay for the illegal immigrant's healthcare.

Very noble of you, really.

You do realize you'll be paying for it whether you volunteer or not, don't you?

Lumping a single individual's personnel opinions and beliefs as if they were the beliefs of the entire group is unwise, because it doesn't work. There are millions of conservatives and millions of liberals, and NONE of them think exactly the same.

Personally, I think you've got it wrong. What MAY be wrong with "conservatism" is that they are trying to keep things the way they are, and this flies in the face of the reality that change is inevitable, and even this is a gross oversimplification of the situation. When it comes to politics, things can get very comlicated very fast.

BTW: I'm a moderate.

It does seem that the republicans are more concerned with money and privilege than rights and caring. For the woman, i don't mind spending my tax dollars on this, however, i would prefer legal immigrants to illegal ones. To take care of this, i think we need to lessen our harsh demands on people. You know, we should just buy Mexico, and give them all freedom, since the republicans are so obsessed with money and ownership. That would solve the problem of people sneaking into our country, and allow Bush to put us further into debt.

Are you from UK or Canada? We don't have a Conservative Party in the US. We have people whose ideologies are more conservative socially or economically but no party per se.

For humanitarian purposes they should help deliver the child and send her on her way back to Mexico. We must stop this have a kid in the US and get a free ride business.

Well most conservatives are against abortion so they do care for lives but that is beside the point.

I don't like the idea of universal health care. I don't believe illegal aliens should be treated in our hospitals. So many hospitals are failing along the Mexican border because they have to treat illegals who never pay for their services. I don't want women coming to America from Mexico to have kids, if they want to raise their kids in America they can apply to legally come to America.

Typical liberal, make the issue an emotional one.

Money rules the world.
Things cost money
People have a limited supply of it.
Some people are not going to get things they want.
Some people are going to get sick and cannot afford to pay for it. I never see liberals advocating to change laws to eliminate or reduce costs for health care.

Mexican women should not be receiving free health care in the US. They should not be here. They need to take their anchor babies and leave.

The Iraqi people need to build their own hospitals.

I completely support you spending your money on this cause. Do not tell me I have to spend mine this way.

90% of conservatives don't have enough money to matter.

But if this were the case, and you happened to MISS the fact that democrats are literally buying elections, then you're a retard. Here are some examples:

Hillary has just set the record for the most fund raising for an election in US history.

The democrat-run Congress is now hiring teams of lawyers for no other purpose than to find ways of investigating the white house and their own republical colleagues.

Liberal billionaires (like George Soros and Peter Lewis) are funding political action groups for the purpose of slandering conservatives, usually falsely.

Who did Harry Reid pay to gather information for him to hold press conferences on the steps of the capitol building every single day for long stretches of time? While he's in chambers, Bush is making speeches somewhere in the country, and by the time Harry comes out of chambers, he has a speech ready to go for the press even though he couldn't possibly have listened to Bush's speech?

And who do you think pays for the expenses of all of those left-wing protestors that come out of their hovels every time there's an issue to protest? Who organizes them? How can they get so many signs made up within hours of an incident happening?

And who is funding all the signs carried by Muslim protestors in the Middle East written in ENGLISH? Muslims don't speak English and can't read them; so their only purpose is to be seen on camera by the Western media (and the US), and ultimately by us, US citizens.

(Don't you ever ask yourself questions like this?)

Well it could be said that liberals believe that they know what is good for you better than you your self, Liberals are no better no worse than conservatives. In short it is all about the individuals ability to make there own choose and to except the consequences of those actions. Illegal immigration is a crime, Giving are tax dollars to support criminals is counterproductive..
And those that will flip the bill for criminals are condoning lawlessness.

No. Keep working at it. Liberalism is a mental disorder. They might come out with pills soon. I suggest you get some right away.
That mexican woman and her baby should both be sent back to mexico without any care. As cruel as that sounds, they don't belong here at all. Conservatives are against illegal immigration, in case you didn't know.

Maybe we should split the taxes, those who want their taxes to go help supporting illegals and those who wish for our taxes to help out the legal citizens who cannot afford healthcare. I know I would rather have my taxes for legal citizens. IMO if they are illegal, then become a citizen, if not go back home or get a vista, is that soooooo hard?????
