Why don't we just send all the serial murders and bad guys in jail to Iraq with some guns to kill people.?

Seems kinda logical. Let them fend for themselves over there and save some of our tax dollars ans prison space for non violent offenders.

I am really sorry to everyone I offended. You are right. That IS a selfish and ignorant question to ask. My perception of Iraq is nothing but bad and it is based on media. And the question is from a conversation I heard on a morning radio talk show. I just wanted to know why it would not work. I truely am sorry.

I may been not as open minded as everyone else, and I may not think things through and weigh out consequences, but I DO have a right to voice my thoughts!! I NEVER said it was the right thing to do or even a good thing to do. I just wanted to know if it was logical. And I KNOW I am NOT the only one who has thought of that. I think it is ridiculous sending our soldiers over there to die when we have killers here in the US sitting on their asses and wasting my tax dollars.

It's crossed my mind... I have to admit. But more importantly, why don't we just leave and let the Iraqis kill each other, since that is what they are inevitably going to do anyway. You don't step in between people who have been consistently fighting and killing each other, constantly, for 2 thousand years and think you're going to stop them.

Why in the WORLD are you so concerned about making more room in JAIL for NON violent offenders????? If ANYTHING you should be making more room in jail for VIOLENT offenders and finding other ways to integrate NON violent offenders back into society with some limitations perhaps.

Edit: So, on further reflection you still think this is a good idea. Have you considered that this means you think the incidents at Abu Gahraib were acceptable, and that you think we need to simply abandon any concept of "rules of engagement", and probably at least tacitly support torture?

We've already had a case where soldiers stalked, raped and killed a 14-year-old girl, then murdered her whole family, including her 5-year-old sister.
