A feeder can pretty much be any type of bowl or old pan.A water-er is recommended it helps the water stay a little cleaner and is less like to be knocked over.As for housing well there are many options in that department.2 chickens do not require a great deal of room. Most depends on how much luxury you want these chickens to have.I have over 70 so my needs are a little greater lol. Most depends on are they going to be penned up or walking freely. In a house a chicken only need 4 square feet per bird.Times that by 2 for the outside pen.2 birds would require 8 square feet in the house and 16 square feet in the pen.Though always remember bigger can be better. All chickens need is food water and shelter from weather and predators.Once they get used to their house as being a roost they will return to it each evening. So for a couple of weeks you want to keep them confined to the house and pen only.Though chickens do not need a rooster for laying eggs he is an important part of their social behavior and I would recommend getting one.He can be noisy at times, but well worth the aggravation.Roosters do an excellent job at watching over the hens and calling them to food.As well alerting to dangers.Again you don't have to have a rooster.
If you are buying day old or young chicks then they need a starter/grower feed.Preferably none medicated. They will also need to remain confined with a heat source(standard light bulbs are fine)which can keep their box about 80 degrees till they gain 75% of their feathers. Then the heat can be reduced by the time they are fully feathered heat is no longer needed.Everything else still applies.

The funniest thing that happened to me, years ago, regarding chickens was when a feed store where I lived was giving away 10 free chicks, 10 to a customer, with any purchase. My wife had gone there to buy pig pellets and came home with 10 chicks. When my son got home from school she took him there to get dog food, 10 more chicks. She called me at work and said to stop on the way home and buy chicken feed, 10 more chicks. Guess what, when they grew up we had 30 roosters. They went into the freezer, all except one that the kids made a pet of, after a day of cleaning them. The pet ended up being like a parrot, he would sit on your shoulder. That summer there was a drought and a local chicken ranch had their well going dry and were selling hens for $2.00. We bought a dozen and it was really nice getting about a dozen eggs a day to eat and sell.

A small enclosure will be just fine and refilling small dishes will be ok too. Just make sure you clean the water out often since the bedding can get into it. You may also want to get a single bulb heat lamp. Just make sure to keep it on one side of their housing. There needs to be a side that is completely shaded too so they can get away from the heat if they need to.
