yes , u r kinda of right , when u look at the questions now , it seems the same , every body asks about the best anti virus , the best firewall , how to get rid of that virus , my computer shut it self off , how can i get my deleted files back , the same questions about myspace , how to speed up my computer and so on ............ yes , and now u can see people have pre-answer for every questions , so they just copy and paste .... what i want to say is if somebody has a question , why he does not look first if somebody already answer that question , so that all the questions become new ......

I was just thinking the same thing. I have been answering the same questions over and over again. You would think these people would at least look to see if their question has been addressed before typing it out. But then again, asking or expecting a person to do some actual legwork is too much to ask.

Some questions *do* repeat over and over, but the questions archives are so vast and I am so lazy it seems a waste of time for me to search before I ask. Sorry.

Repeaters I've answered more than once:
Free anti-virus?
XP versus Vista?
How to start a website?
Free website editor?
Free website host?
PC versus Mac?
Good laptop?
How to transfer files to a host?
Firefox versus Internet Explorer?
How to get rid of browser history?

...It's all in the process of helping newbies.
