Younger people seem to act emotionally while adults tend to use logic to solve their problems. Why is this? What are some examples of this in real life? Which group is more "attractive"?

Older people understand that feelings are fleeting. Older people understand that feelings don't constitute actuality. Younger people lack experience and knowledge and fill that gap with their "feelings" because that's all they really have. The problem comes into play when these "feelings" are overvalidated and considered as a poignant truth. That's when we have deep conflicts, because no one wants to be told what they "feel" is wrong, but at the same time, this is not fact and shouldn't be validated as such.

I think attractiveness is based on intelligence and the power to use that intelligence. When an intelligence is mixed with 'feelings' that's really when the line becomes fuzzy, with actual facts, figures, and knowledge.

As you get older, you realize that you have to keep your emotions in check many times to be able to handle the situation. I find that I am great in a crisis while it's happening and can totally take charge and get things done, however, after it's over I feel the emotions of it all. As adults it is our responsibility to be able to handle things like this and if we let our emotions take over, we'd fall apart and do no one any good. It is something we learn as we get older. That's why I think young people should have fun and enjoy it while they can before the responsibilities become theirs one day.
