To haver or not to haver, that is the question.
To hold or not to hold, that is also the question. However to haver is what I am doing right now, if you get my drift or my slide or whatever it is you think I am trying to say and explain that this answer is just about as havering as you could possibly get. Get it!

hi there hope this helps :)
to haver, in Scotland means to rattle on, talking about nothing in particular and not making a lot of sense. For example, if some one talks in their sleep, they are havering or if drunk and not making a lot of sense, they are havering.

Haver can mean to talk foolishly or to ramble. I think that is the best definition that fits in this case. It can also mean a friend (noun), oats (noun), or to answer questions with misleading answers (verb).

As a verb it can mean to hesitate; it can also mean to babble or talk foolishly.
As a noun it means nonsense, I think.
