this is going to pull very complicated to the side that the flat is on. while you're an alert driving force you do not likely would desire to hardship approximately it, you will notice it excellent away and would in basic terms pull over. in case you have a cellular telephone in a single hand and a cappucino in the different and you're doing sixty 5, you will possibly not make it lol additionally undergo in innovations that this is okay to force somewhat sluggish for a million/2 a mile or so, perhaps a mile while you're close to to living house. this is going to sound such as you're killing your automobile in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is not that undesirable. once you notice shreds of tires on the fringe of the line, it somewhat is often from semis, they have 18 of them so if a back one blows, they probably do not even notice and finally the tire in basic terms disintegrates.

I did just last Saturday! It was 10:00pm. I couldn't believe this happened to me, I never got a flat before! So I went to change it on my own. I had all the tools except for the jack! I was so pissed! So I called my boyfriend who was 40 minutes away and drunk with buddies. He told me he was on his way. But then some guy with his girl pulled over and asked if I needed help. Hell yeah, but he was a redneck and said "A jack, I don't got one, hell, it's in my other truck" All he did was losen the bolts and stood their. When my bf showed up, he took off.

Yes, it was me and my 2 gal pals. It was summer, we were decked out in short skirts and sandals driving out to I think TGI Fridays or something, and there was construction on the road we took, had been for like 3 months, and while driving, the car felt like it was sinking. We stopped at a gas station and found a huge nail in the tire. We asked if the gast station attendant could help, but he was useless, so we filled the tire with air and tried to drive to my brother's house near by, but the car couldn't make it. We heard the tire deflating and felt the car sinking down. We stopped at a church because it was dark and we figured it would be safe there. We tried to change it ourselves, but none of us knew how. Luckily one of the pastors at the church was leaving and saw us. He helped put the tire on for us.

I felt bad because we were dressed like--well, we were going out to a bar, so you know. But all was well, and the next day we got a huge nail pulled out at Les Shwab and they patched the tire for like $40.

Happened to me on the freeway.
Thought a helicopter was going to land on the car.
Pulled over and got off the freeway. Luckily the wheel wasn't destroyed. But it was the safest thing to do; staying at the side of the freeway is extremely dangerous.
Be careful; be safe.

Girl Tip!!!! Always wear a dress when traveling. I have had three blow outs on US Interstate Highways. The only time I had to actually change my own tire, I was wearing slacks. Now I keep a skirt in the glove box, just in case!

yep. lucklily i was near a gas station and i managed to get the guys inside to change the flat for me in a hurry (since i was late getting to the club) lol. it isnt so bad as long as you are prepared to handle such a dilema like i was. as a rule ever since i first started driving i have carried a small foldable tool box, a pair of coveralls in case i have to get dirty, and i always make sure my spare is in good shape (enough air and accesible) plus i always carry my cell phone. if you have a pay as you go phone like i did at the time i kept a card in the glove box for emergencys only.

Only once thankfully( I hope I'm not speaking too soon) while driving on the motorway, luckily I stopped safely and two drivers stopped and changed my tyre for me. It was really scary at the time and just in case it ever happens again I learned to change one myself.

Yes I have had it happen a couple of time.....I even had the tire and rim come off while I was driving.....I would take the flat over the whole tire coming off anytime....

It happens sometimes, especially in towns that won't pay to fix the streets. Or construction zones with nails and debris everywhere. It is a pain. Always have a spare or AAA.
