I think that courage, like *good deeds*, is most meaningful when shown in secret. Both sexes can show courage in ways that no other person might know about, and that courage is important and special.
Good luck

Yes, it is different than the courage of man. Look back at history for the answers regarding how women were once treated. As a woman, I am thankful that other women and I can now go forward with hopes and dreams in the same manner that men have always been allowed to do.

A woman doesn't ask herself, usually, if she is brave enough to have a baby or not. I think most men would think about it. Women are more into realizing that pain is part of being a woman.
In my lifetime..........very long time.............I have found that men exhibit the most courage when there is an 'audience'. Women have courage when no one will ever know the circumstances.
This is just my view. I like my man, honestly! Still, I know we'd be childless if he had to give birth (let alone, carry a baby for 9 months, while working, running the home, etc..). I know my guy can't even think of giving blood, let alone losing it every month. I know that when I know I am in the right, I don't give up.........I get laws changed, etc.. My guy has the habit of complaining about things, but, not working to change those things.

Men can only show physical courage, which quickly fades away after a crisis. But a woman can show emotional courage that will last a very long time.

Interesting question...and thought provoking.
What comes to mind is that the courage of man seems instinctual, and is usually tied to acts of bravery...in a physical sense. It is the man's job to protect his home and family. The courage of women is usually more emotional...bolstering spirits when all looks bleak or putting on a brave face in times of danger when they know that children are looking on...

One name---Nancy Ward. No it doesn't differ from male courage---there's only one courage and that's to fight for what's right or die in my culture.
