I am honest and true with the persons that do the same with me. when someone earns my trust, I open myself fully. I am usually very sincere and... me.

Everyone is honest and true to a point. Unfortunately as humans we do not always remain this way. Sometimes the opposite is necessary.

Sometimes people know through learning empathy. Sometimes people learn best because they've experienced dishonesty from someone else - and had people to support them through it. One thing I hate about all these robo selling telephone calls is that they condition us to be mean to other people and even dishonest. I hate that they're allowed.
