If everything was black and white it is too rigid, too unforgiving, too strick, too perfect (which there is nothing perfect in this world). The grey zone allows for one's emotions, desires, dreams, and forgiving. Give me the grey zone anyday.

I work in the grey zone. It is no game but I have learned from being a nurse that life itself is a grey zone and there is no such thing as black and white. . . . .ultimately we do not have control over any of it. . . .especially our bowels.

For me it is black or white. The grey confuses me as it is then I feel like I don't know exactly someone is indicating or telling me.
