No but in the modern Britain and since they are of African origin they would be referred to as " Asylum seekers."

They will be African-British, same as I am European African, Michael Jordan is African-Anerican. George Bush is Irish-American and George Gregan is African-Astralian.
We can't quite make the "elephant/human" comparison though. The African elephant, Loxodonta africana, is a common species name, while black, white, etc. are different races within a species.
Put an African elephant raised in England in the African bush (without rehab), and it will probably die. (Do that with Bill Cosby and you'll have the same result)
Anyhow, many species seen as "African" today historically also occurred in Asia and Europe.

yes and then the Home Office will want to deport them - (as their asylum seeking has not been successful) - big drive on to do that these days - and so then,

are the parents sent home but the child can remain because it was born and registered in Britain? and is therefore now from Britain or does the child go back to Africa with its parents and its British identity?

There never will be anything like "british elephants".

Did you ever hear animals applying for citizenship? I didn't.

Btw: in zoos male and female elephants do not "just mate".

Take care!
