told you that she did not believe in abortion... meaning that if she became pregnant you would either have to keep it or give it up for adoption, would you continue having sex with her? What if you knew you weren't "ready" to marry her? Would you just pretend like getting pregnant wasn't a possibility and continue having sex?

I ask because that is my situation. We were using condoms and the pill. I somehow got pregnant anyway. I expressed to him earlier (one year +) ago in our relationship that I would not have an abortion if I became pregnant. I was comfortable continuing to have sex with him because we had discussed having a future together and marriage. So right now I am "hurt" that he says he's not ready for marriage. My perspective is that if he's not ready for marriage he should not have had sex with me once I told him that abortion was not an option.

CONDOMS!! Alot of you seem to mistakingly believe that condoms and every other form of birth control is without risk. That is simply not true and I am definitely an example of that. I've been sexually active for ten years and I'm quite competent in the usage of most methods of birth control. This was my first pregnancy and like I stated above we were using two methods of birth control.

I wouldn't be able to stand having kids around, but I would support her decision regardless.

i'm not a man but most men knowing i'm as fertile as they get would insist on using condoms. but then again i have coincedentally been talking to men who have had a vasectomy. which is very very cool!! (i havent slept with either but it was nice knowing lol)

P.S. and you mistakenly believe that all relationships that involve love and sex have to result in marraige. you got pregnant. now you are upset that he doesnt want to marry you. you shouldnt have had sex with him until he married you. now that sounds ridiculous right!? well so does telling him he shouldnt have had sex with you UNLESS he wanted to marry you eventually. both are ridiculous expectations. so you told him you wouldnt ever have an abortion. good for you. but did he ever tell you at any time that if you were to get pregnant that he'd marry you. if he said no or didnt even discuss it then why did YOU continue to have sex with that kind of uncertainty. if he said yes he would, well guess what he can change his mind. you really want a man to marry you because you got pregnant. if he had no intentions of marry you before you got preggo why would you want him to marry you now? and if your answer is, well he did just not now. well then why rush things. because of a baby!? seems very drastic. just concentrate on being a mom. dont force the issue. you guilt him or manipulate him into marrying you then you know that for the rest of your life you will be "that" woman. the woman who got her man to marry her with guilt, manipulations, weird rules, and ridiculous expectations.

I'm scared to death of having a child. I can't take care of myself let alone a child. I would have protected sex or no sex at all cuz anything can happen. or just use the pull-out method.

Most guys would act first, then act again and tell you they never understood a word you said after you got pregnant.Ever hear of condoms?

I would do research into these things called "condums" or "condoms" I'm not sure. They're this brand new thiong out that supposedely help prevent you from getting pregnant. But I don't know, it sound like a lot of "smoke and mirrors" to me.

My kids would be better off aborted. I'm living in a cardboard box with nothing but a computer.

Young lady if you think you are old enough to be having sex, then you are old enough to take responsibility and protect yourself.

DO NOT naively depend on any man to protect you!

Would not give up doing it w/ her...HOWEVER, it'd be less frequent, there'd ALWAYS be protection (w/ back-up) & try to do it near her periods.
