Don't go to the ER...you'll just wait and wait and wait. Call your OB and ask them if you should come in. Seeing the OB first is definitely the better way to go so you're not in the ER for 12 hours or more being exposed to who knows what kind of germs!

If you believe that you are having a miscarriage at 2 months along, there is no reason to go to the ER. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and was told that there was nothing that could have been done to stop it. If you feel that there is something wrong, you should call your doctor and let them know what's going on. They will either tell you that everything is fine and a little pain now and then is normal, or they will make room for you to have an appointment sooner than May 7. If you insist on a sooner appointment, they will accommodate you.
All that being said... I would worry more if there had been bleeding. Nausea is a normal part of pregnancy, and is also something that would not worry me. If I had the same concerns that you do, I would call and insist on a sooner appointment than May 7.
Also, not feeling pregnant is not necessarily a bad thing. I've had days with all my pregnancies when I didn't "feel" pregnant. I even had a few days like that when I was 7 months along with my youngest daughter! Pregnancy symptoms come and go, and that is perfectly normal! Don't start stressing immediately if you aren't "feeling" as pregnant as you did yesterday. When that happens, I consider it God's way of giving me a break!
Good luck!

The ER won't be able to do anything for you except to confirm a healthy pregnancy or a miscarriage. Try to get your OB appointment moved up and get checked out there. Traditionally it is advised to go to the ER during early pregnancy only if you are in constant, intense pain or you're bleeding so much that you are soaking more than one pad an hour.
Best of luck!

There is no reason to go to the er. That is for emergencies only. If you have any questions, that is what your doc is for and they will make the call as to whether you need medical care. I hate to sound callous, but I used to work in a hospital and you wouldn't believe how many people us the er as their personal doctor. This is what drives up insurance rates and premiums for the rest of us. If we all went to the er everytime we had an ache or pain, we would live there.
sorry about the venting, but I feel better now.

If I were you I would either call my doctor or an advise nurse or try going to the Urgent Care Center (usually not as crowded as Emergency Room). May just be normal pregnancy pains with everyhing moving around in there getting ready for baby. Hope everything is ok. Congrats and good luck!

If there was no bleeding than I wouldn't got to the doctor until the May 7th appointment.
ER is expensive even if you have insurance so I would hope for the best and wait it out. But give a call to you rreg doctor and ask what you shoul do. Maybe the can move up your visit.
Good Luck! ;-)

When it doubt, go be checked. Some women do have miscarriages, but they do not bleed or pass the tissue.. so if you're concerned about your baby I would go. They can take your blood and mAKE SURE YOUR PREGNANCY HORMONES ARE STILL RISING.

Chances are those pains were your uterus stretching, if you had NO bleeding, then most likely you didnt miscarry. Do you still "feel" pregnant? Meaning do you still have pregnancy symptoms? If so, more likely than not your still pregnant. But if you in any kind of doubt call your OB's office maybe they can see you sooner!
Good Luck

yes, b/c you don't want to bleed to death if it starts bleeding. Go to the ER best to be safe, sometimes you don't bleed right away during a miscarriage, sometimes they have to do a dnc, other times you have no cramps but bleed for a miscarriage, your ligments could be stretching ...but go to the dr!

I would call your doctors office right away and let the doctor make that decision. He or she may go ahead and have you come in to their office just to be safe. Anytime you are in doubt, call your doctor and let them advise you.
