The way this question is stated makes me think you got caught in a headlock and the other guy held on too long cutting off air to important places. I'll bet that's what happened.

that is what is wrong w/society today-they want to blame TV,video games or even the movies, some even go as far as saying it's the music that kids listen to. Oh how wrong they are. What makes a person violent well truly only that person noes what exactly got them to that point but in general it's because they where picked on,beat up, made fun of or there could be hundreds of other reasons. If people can not distinguish between right and wrong than that is there stupidity. People should know that the wrestlers on WWE are professionals who actually train for that kind of stuff.

There has been violence throughout history.

In the first centuries AD it was blamed on evil Christians
In the 1700's it was blamed on witches or evil spirits.
In the 1920's it was blamed on boogy-woogy music
In the 1960's it was blamed on Rock & Roll.
In the 1980's it was blamed on Dungeons and Dragons and violent movies.
In the 1990's it was blamed on Marilyn Manson and video games.

The fact is that there will always be sick people out there who want to do harm, and there will always be some scapegoat for their actions. It bothers people to think that there are just some people who are genuinely bad, and every person is a product of their environment, but no matter what you do there will always be some people who want to do evil.

People will always blame the things they are afraid of on the things that are new or the things they don't understand. It's much harder to accept that some people, in the right circumstances, are simply bad people. And no matter what we do, we will never prevent every bad thing from happening.

Also, many people who don't like something will look for any bad thing to blame on the targets they don't like. Especially when those targets have deep pockets.

Ok I know I'm going to get a couple thumbs down for this reply but here goes:

Reply 1 (If your questions is of real interest): We shouldn't worry about bullying what we should worry about are the parents who don't teach their kids values. That is the reason the bullying happens in the first place. Also if Cho played to many video games or watched WWE that does not make him prone to violence. Many studies have shown that there is no correlation between the two. One main rule in scientific studies is that correlation is not causation.

Reply 2 (In case your are being a prick with your question and honestly believe that what you are spouting is true): You are an ignorant prick. That is all.

video games are a scapegoat; it is that total isolation by parents from parenting to allow technology to be the babysitter; when I was younger we had GI joes , played cops and robbers. had play guns and didn't going around shooting people up ; the difference is we had parents, families, no stores open on Sunday so it was a family day; children played outside with each other, bike riding, we had to work for things, things weren't handed to us to pacify us for human contact; you can't blame the technology just the parents that don't mingle that with the greatest gift to our children our time and us

I think kids should finally wake up and realize that everyone in the world is not a clone of themselves and that everyone is just as important as the next person. RESPECT! That is what people need to learn in order to help prevent this kind of thing. And, yeah, violence is promoted 24/7 on TV.
