No actually the smarter you are the more likely you are to question how smart you are. Think about it, if you don't know a lot or don't have a great analytical ability, you won't know how much more there is out there to know, nor will you have the tools to figure out that there is a lot of stuff out there that you don't know about.
Bottom line, nobody can know everything, there will always be someone out there smarter than you in a lot of subjects.
As to whether you will succeed in a particular field, especially medicine. The whole point of the preparation process is to find out your likelihood of being successful - if you do well in undergrad science classes and MCATs you SHOULD do well in med school. But there is more to it than that (and this is true of any profession). If you have average intelligence and above average perseverance and persistence, you will do well. If you are a genius and don't apply yourself (especially in a highly competitive field like medicine) you will not succeed.

i think of that guy or woman became saying the alternative; that people who're no longer Christian are smart and that people who're Christian are, properly, no longer smart. i individually think of there are smart human beings between the two get mutually, this is whilst one strays too a ways faraway from the midsection that the intelligence they have turns into negated, very resembling in politics. Fundamentalist Christians are so blinded by potential of religion that no longer something is open to being genuine. Strict Atheists are in such denial that the viewed a a ways better being turns into in basic terms stupid, in spite of the fact that it extremely is without doubt one in each and every of the toughest, maximum smart questions you may ask. My subject is to maintain questioning and save searching for, yet, even so, i'm a weirdo.

In my opinion, I think intelligent people do question their intelligence, it keeps them sharp and open to different ideas.
As a doctor, though, the patience won't want to see the doubt. They are coming to you for help and they need a confident doctor, not one that renders their diagnosis and or treatment formed in the way of a question. Good luck.

If you question your intelligence always then that means you have less confidence about your skills. It doesn't mean that you are not smart.
So you need to get in to acts that improves your confidence and skills.
In some situation, everyone will question their intelligence and they will take action to improve them self. There is nothing wrong in it. But it is not good if it happened always.

I do trust the IQ results, but if you choose to not reach for the best things in life, you sure can't do it. Learning and progressing in education isn't necessarily IQ related. To me, it is how much do you desire to achieve it. Are we willing to really work toward our goals? There is a sacrifice for achievement. I don't think your question is unintelligent. You just need to go forward and give your best. Good luck.

sounds more like a self esteem thing than it does an intelligence thing. that can happen to anyone, regardless of their intelligence or IQ or anything like that.

It seems to me that questioning your own intelligence would correlate more with low self-esteem than low intelligence.

I've known many intelligent people who doubt their intelligence.
WHY do you question your intelligence?
I think you're worrying about it too much.
You've got whatever smarts you've got.
