How long is your cycle? When do you ovulate? 2 1/2 weeks before your period seems a bit early, even to ovulate. Add to that the fact that once the sperm fertilizes the egg, it still takes more than a week to implant (which is when hcg starts being released (which is what causes symptoms). Don't worry though, you still may get pregnant this cycle, but it is WAY too soon to know or test. Best of luck.

Hi =) Most people ovulate (release an egg) about 14 days before they start their period. The symptoms you're describing (cramping, nausea, fatigue) are symptoms of ovulation. More than likely you're just ovulating. As far as your belly button being harder...that doesn't happen til quite a bit later in pregnancy. You should wait a least until the day you're supposed to start. Don't worry your pretty little head about being preggo girly... chill!!!

If you still have that long until your period, I wouldn't get too worried yet. You may have some of the symptoms, but your uterus is not big enough to make your belly button harder. Maybe there is something wrong and you should see the doctor, they can do a blood test to tell you if you are pregnant pretty early also.

I would wait a bit 2 1/2 weeks until your period but there is no test out there that could tell you before 4 days so not sure why you did a test way too early. Wait it out and see if your period comes 1st then go from there

Maybe it's too early for the pregnancy test,u should wait a lil longer and take a second one.Usually pregnancy tests can tell u if you are pregnant or not 5 days before yr missed period. Example: I conceived sep.24th,i took a test on the 28th and it was negative,i took another on the 13th and it was positive.

It's possible it's all in your head, the one symptom I know for sure is being extremely tired. Taking a pregnancy test as early as you did could give you a negative reading even if you are pregnant.

If it's 2 1/2 weeks until you get your period, you probably haven't even ovulated for this cycle yet.... and you couldn't be having symptoms. You must of JUST had sex........ it takes 7-10 days for the egg to make it's way and implant in the uterus, then you build pregnany hormones THEN symptoms can happen. It's way too early to test, you have to wait until your period is due. Good luck!

As ByTheWay answered, no, you're not pregnant. The logic behind this is that if you're two weeks away from getting your period, you are only right now just about to ovulate...You can only get pregnant when you're ovulating, so you can't have gotten pregnant between your last period and now.

If you want to get pregnant, I highly recommend that you & your man get busy over the next few days!!

some people know when they are pregnant and some people want to become pregnant so badly that they imagine that they are and have actual symptons when they're not. Wait until the proper time to take the test, it's still to early....
