It's totally possible. I found out at 14 weeks during both my pregnancies that I was having a boy. It is definitly easier to find out if it's a boy, rather than a girl. It also depend on the person doing the ultrasound. If they spend their time looking to see, than it's much more likely. Some doctor's will only pause for a moment to see. Also, technology is getting better all of the time, so don't underestimate the veiwing power. It is awesome. I love ultrasounds. It is amazing to see the little person inside of you. Good luck! :)

Yes that can tell the sex of the baby at this stage as long as the baby is laying the right way. Drink something with caffeine in it. I always drank a 24 ounce bottle of Pepsi before having the Ultra sounds done. I found out with all 3 of my babies.

Yes, the sex of the baby can be determined at the end of the first trimester.
That said, it'll depend on the position of the baby and if they can get a good look. But things are developped enough to see.
Good luck :)

You bet. You could have told what baby is a couple of weeks ago. Most ultrasounds are done between 15 and 20 weeks.

Yes you should be able to tell if baby is in the right position. However, I wouldn't be drining a lot of sugar and caffiene as has been suggested because you don't want him/her moving around TOO much. if they are the tech may not be able to get a good view. Wait and see then if not in the right position they may ask you to drink something to get them moving a little.

SURE THEY CAN. GENDER CAN BE DETECTED AS EARLY AS 14 WEEKS, BUT GENERALLY THEY TEND TO WAIT UNITL WEEK 18 TO MAKE A MORE DEFINITE ASSUMPTION. I WAS ABLE TO TELL I WAS HAVING A BOY RIGHT AT 18 WEEKS. THE CLINCHER IS IF THE BABY WANTS YOU TO KNOW OR NOT!!! GOOD LUCK!
