Yes the Hawks have a great nucleus of young talent Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, and Childress and Marvin I think the problem with them is getting the fans behind them again they have no support what so ever.

I've realized the problem isn't the players, its the state of the franchise. The attitude of the franchise is losing. Perfect example - my New Orleans Saints. There was an attitude of losing until a new coach came in, did some housecleaning, and brought a new attitude. Thats what the Hawks need. They have some talent, but the state of mind is all screwed up. Marvin Willams is just one player. If he's an Atlanta Hawk or not, if the state of mind doesnt change, they will continue to be a lottery team.

Im a Hawks fan, Ive lived in GA all my life, and have been living in Atlanta for 2 years....If any players are going to turn around the franchise it is going to be the combo of Josh Smith and Joe Johnson, add a good pg, and dont be surprised when they make the playoffs next year!
Another thing that messed up our franchise, was the best draft in atleast a decade, one that included d-wade, lebron, bosh, melo..etc... We didnt get a chance to get one of those franchise players, because the year before...We "Guaranteed to make the Playoffs" Hawks came close, but no cigar...their for we ended up empty handed
