I now have a job which I make $33,000 with, but I have only held it since October.

My tax returns prior to this were:
2005: $16,000
2006: $23,000

judge has wide discretion when calculating child support they may impute that 33K should be the base and not 23K

Child support is a percentage of your income. It can be adjusted as your income changes. It would be lower in 2005,go up in 2006 and up again in 2007.

check online for child support calculators. it determines on your state what you pay. i would have given you a link but since i dont know what state you are in that would make it difficult for the correct one.
