my computer say to download printers for the upgrade to work my printer i click on it and it keeps on running and semms like it takes forever i have a lexmark z645 and just got an upgrade to vista now my printer wont work i have tery down loading the driverand disk upgrade but it keeps on how lond she it take will my printer ever work help please

Vista is new and still has some kinks. I'm sure all manufacturers get complaints and are working on fixes. (I had a problem with my printer and IE7 -- HP was aware of it and had a fix for me.)
I suggest you contact the manufacturer and apprise them of your problem. Hopefully, they will have a fix for you.
If that fails, try uninstalling, restart, then reinstall.
