This is rubbish, Indian cricket not allowed in the advertisements. The players have signed contracts with many private companies e.g. Sachin has signed contract with adidas, Sunfeast etc. The players earn their livelihood by working in advertisements, other than the income they earn by playing matches. One has no right to become a hurdle in others source of income. The private companies in India are influenced by cricket. If they don't get right ambassadors they would suffer heavy economic losses. Again, there is no relation between the the advertisements and the players performence on the field. So I not agree with the restrictions put on the advertisements by the BCCI.

I do not agree. As long as the players are performing well.. then only they get advertisement. Above all this is the time they can make money otherwise after cricket , who will be looking for them How can they earn bread-butter for family? There are so many players living in misery, can not take care of family or even can not pay a Doctor's fee. If Board provide a reasonable amount of money to ex-cricketers with Medical Allowance for their family, then only BCCI should limit the advertisement.
Another option.. Instead of limiting the advertisement, BCCI should ask players to take part in Domestic cricket and make limited games( Domestic) to be played by a player for selection in Indian team. This will improve the quality of Domestic cricket. keep player in form and utilize the off time (from Internation game) of players.
What do you think?

How about making a survey of finding the trend of advertisement that are 'allowed' in top 5 to 10 Cricket playing countries and set the rules for the Indian players in line with the trend?
I am sure that Indian players would top the list of such survey with maximum numbers of its players (with highest paid models) to appear in commercial advertisements.
These type of indirect feedbaqck and some set-rules may wean Indian top performers from Ad-money to real Cricket playing passions!

No, I never agree to allow them in advertisements. Not only advertisement they should not enter themselves in media. If they want to give opinion about any products the BCCI should not encourage them unless their experience in Cricket. Because BCCI provides good salary, perks and etc. Cricket players are earning a lot of money in this game and that is very suffiecient for their life. If they enter advertisement they never concentrate with game, because they are earning huge amount in advertisement compare to their salary which provides by BCCI.
So indian cricketers should not enter in advertisement area.

Since the Indian cricketers are doing too much advertisements they get huge amounts from the advertisements and as such do not give much importance to the game. Hence I personally feel that their advertisements should be restricted.

I rwally dont think they need endorsements becoz
1.We've had enough seeing their ugly faces giving their gorilla type grins
2.They're not out on the streets in rags, are they??
3.And most of the products they endorse are useless.

yes, they should be asked to toil in the ground rather than rehearsing and posing before cameras if India has to regain its lost esteem
