Introducing The Beatles, on VeeJay records which I had at one time and Capitol records released Meet The Beatles in 1964. This is for America, I think it was different in U.K.

Introducing the Beatles. It was on VJ records and is a rare and collectible album. Even some of the bootleg copies of it are collectible.

Their first widely released recording was actually a Tony Sheridan album featuring the Beatles on "My Bonnie (Lies Over the Ocean)". Their first UK release was "Please, Please ME" on Parlaphone records. This was followed in the same year (1963) by "With the Beatles" also in England. Their first US release was "Meet the Beatles" on Capitol records. It contained most of the songs from "Please, Please Me" but used the album cover from "With the Beatles".

The first album recorded by the Beatles is called "Please Please Me." It came out in March of 1963, and had the hit song "Love Me Do" and "Please Please Me."
