I don't know about during labor, as my baby does this anyway. Anytime they put any kind of medical equipment anywhere around or on her, she loses it. Ultrasound thing, the doppler in the office, the NST monitors, you name it, she takes a complete fit as soon as it is on there, kicking and punching and moving my entire stomach every which way. For the Non Stress Tests, they have to leave me on the monitors forever, wait for her to wear down finally, and then get their monitoring done....lol
When she finally gets worn out from fighting, my stomach will move very rapidly in a manner that looks like her breathing really hard, like she is trying to catch her breath from all her exertions. It used to really scare me, but the doctors think it is hilarious most of the time, and say she is just a very lively baby, that it is nothing to worry about. But I would still ask your doctor to be on the safe side, particularly if this is not a normal behavior for your baby...my baby has always done this, or at least for as long as I have been able to feel what she is doing in there, so I think that is why they say it is normal.

Labor is a very stressful period for the baby. When your uterus contracts it squeezes. The baby might feel very uncomfortable when this is happening. Which could explain why she's moving around so much. However, if you're very concerned, ask the doctor to provide an ultra sound. Somtimes babies move a lot, but not in the sense that you're explaining. I would find out the most I could.

My daughter did that in utero when she was turning. She was breech but then a couple days before she was born she turned head down and I honestly thought she was having a seizure. I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound and found her head down much to my delight.. but its hard to know if what I felt was exactly like what you did. I would express your concerns to the doctor and the nurses. They should put your fears to rest and if they dont: dont let them leave the room until they answer all your questions. Good Luck and I wish you a safe and easy delivery and a healthy baby.

I can't say it has happened to me (since my babys still in my belly) but every once in a while, it moves sooo quickly that I thought it was having a seizure too! I don't know if its normal or not, but I will be watching the question to find out.

as quickly as a female did no longer comprehend what to call her toddler so she grow to be strolling around the well-being midsection, attempting to get inspired and observed a no smoking sign. So she named it non-smo-kang. No lie! yet another grow to be on drugs whilst she had her toddler and whilst filling out the certificates, she theory the male female examine container grow to be relatively asking her which may be a extra useful call for her toddler. So her daughters call is female. the two ARE authentic!

That is really scary! Was it just that one time? Did they check on an ultrasound to see if everything is ok?
My baby was born at 35 weeks, and she was fine, so if you do have her early, don't worry!
