Yes, I pray for the families and friends of these people, who's lives were taken from them. Also for all the students, this was devistating for them. I do admit that at times in the past I have done, as Im sure many do, said I would keep it in prayer and then failed to do so.Whether it be too many things on my mind or falling asleep while I was praying, which I have done, ... or just plain forgot. This big old world needs a lot of prayers. Oh how we take ,so many things for granted! We need to pray more not only For things, but prayers of thankfullness. I could go on and on, but I'll stop. God Bless you, whomever you are.

I am a combat veteran of Vietnam and a retired police Officer and I still take the time to have a chat with God every day, and I'm not a Christian. I believe in God and the immortality of the soul and I think that God listens so I've asked him to be gentle with these people.

I have stopped and prayed. It runs through my mind. When one of my sons walks through the door it hits home again. My heart goes out to the mothers who will never hold their children again and my heart breaks for them.
How much carnage a sick, troubled mine can wreak on so many lives. His mother is heartbroken too.
I can't imagine the soul rending grief the families and friends are going through.
Its an unspeakable horror. Whatever strength they have will be tested for the rest of their lives.

The words "those days retired" stood out. My wager is, she retired into no longer something, has greater time on her palms, and is bored. She desires to concentration on doing some thing that'll supply her a feeling of self-properly worth. i'd propose to her volunteer artwork, or discover some thing she's quite captivated with, i.e. portray, crafts, writing, the checklist is infinite. next time she starts bypass-interpreting you, tell her perfect you will somewhat no longer communicate approximately it - and walk away. you do no longer owe her an evidence approximately your previous and your melancholy. sturdy success.
