We know that guns are legal in USA, but why some people got arrested for weapon possesion?
example like Tony Yayo, he was sent to jail for weapon possesion but some other people can purchase guns.

Gun possession is legal with a license. To carry a weapon on you, you need to have a special permit.

After filing the proper paperwork, some can buy weapons. To carry a weapon you need different paperwork. If you have a concealed weapons permit you can carry at all times. Without the permit, you go to jail for weapons possesion.

Just because people can own guns doesn't mean there aren't rules for owning guns. Tony Yayo has a felony on his record. I know one of the rules is felons are not allowed to legally own guns. You should look up the gun laws. They vary from state to state.

While gun ownership is legal, there are still limits. For instance, in most states a convicted felon losing his/her right to carry a weapon. Also, states have laws against carrying a concealed weapon without a special license.

Some people lose their Constitutional right to bear arms.
Felons, certain mental patients, and many other Liberals.
Shelly, you are mistaken. A concealed carry permit allows you to carry a gun hiden on your person. Anyone with a gun can carry it in a holster in plain view or have it laying on your front seat. Put it in the glove box without a concealed gun permit and you're in trouble.

You only get arrested for weapons violations if your particular firearm was purchased illegally or if you are an ex-convict, in which case you aren't allowed to own a firearm.

There are laws the disqualify you form having guns, like legal status, felony convictions, etc. Certain weapons are illegal.

they got sent to jail cause u need a license with ur gun to prove ownership and the code's on the license didn't match da code on the gun
