Discuss your concerns with your doctor. Sometimes it takes longer than a year to get pregnant. Also, perhaps it is not you, it may be your partner.
Good Luck!

There are many reasons for infertility. first though most doctors want you to try for a year before exploring infertility testing. His first test will be your physical health then blood test for hormone levels and ask you to keep a basil temperature chart to see if you are ovulating. It may be you rpartner too with his sperm and motility of sperm. if all of those test are normal then further testing of your utuerus and fallopian tubes happen. Many women are infertile due to previous chlamidia infections they did not know about and scarring of the fallopian tubes. Men can also have structural problems, immature or sperm with lack of motility. This becomes a long process of discovering why infertile. Some couples opt to not go through all of the testing and hormone treatments and go straight to in vitro treatment. discuss your options with yoru doctor.

Before you even step into a fertility clinic there are two things you can do. Start charting your cycles. You can use http://www.fertilityfriend.com it has a great online tool to help and tutorials or you could use the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility Both are really helpful at charting your cycle to see if you are ovulating or if the problem lies in timing of intercourse or if it's possible there's something else at work like low sperm count, luteal phase defect ect. Armed with your chart you can then seek out medical help without a bunch of retarded tests that are dehumanizing.

Infertility is defined as after 1 year of well-timed unprotected intercourse no pregnancy occurs. So, you've been having sex around ovulation for at least a year then you are infertile.
