Ever confessed to cheating?

have any of you ever confessed to cheating to your significant other even though there was no way they would have found out on their own? What was the outcome?

Cheaters usually wont even confess when you catch them red handed...... they will lie no matter how rediculus it sounds.

It's funny, because I've encouraged my friends before to NOT tell their significant other that they cheated, simply because they wanted to stay in the relationship and the only thing I saw happening was it hurting the other person. She had a lot of issues to deal with, and was in counselling, and the guy she was dating was probably the best thing that had ever happened to her- so telling him when she wanted to stay and work on the relationship (especially her own issues), would only have hurt him.
On the other hand, if my husband cheated on me, I'd absolutely want to know- because there's obviously a problem in the relationship if one (or both) person cheats. So if the person is truly unhappy in the relationship, I think honesty is best. But be warned- once you're honest with the person, they will want to know every single detail of what happened- and that's usually the worst part of it all, because it hurts you both to have to recount it.

I'd never confess. One married girl I was cheating with told her husband about us. He was a cop and wanted to kill me.

Nothing good ever comes of it. Cheaters will lie to the death. They will never confess anything because they justify it to themselves that its the other persons fault.
