I am a TA for an Enlish teacher, and I have nothing to do. They are all in the library, and my class is about 2 hours long today. I was trying to get something to do... so I wouldn't be so bored...

If you are acting as a teaching assistant for the class, you need to be participating in school based activities. Myspace is not a school approved site, as well it should not be.

Do you want to get suspended? Keep trying to participate in illegal activities on the computer. I am sure that you could find some reading material that you could pass the time with.

If you are acting as a teaching assistant you need to be setting a good example for the students that you are working with.

I have this issue at work. This is how I get around it.

www.ninjaproxy.com

There you can visit any other website that your school may have blocked access to. There are other sites that provide the same service... but I have not used them and have had all the success I need with Ninja Proxy.

Also...are you in Elementary or High School? If so then
dont go on MySpace at school! Learn while your at school! Sheesh! It's free education! Later you will have to PAY for your education! Use this time wisely!

That being said...use the above information to go onto MySpace. It should work unless your school's IT has blocked it. Then you will have to look for a similar site.

Accessing unauthorized web sites with web proxies is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers. Use school computers for school work and myspace will be there when you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

Your a TA and want to purposely break a school rule? They are allowing you into their school and you want to be sneaky on the computer system that us tax payers pay for? Why are you even there? I think you need a new job or something. Thankfully your not in my kids class you sneak!! I wouldn't want a TA that teaches kids how to break rules and cross security lines.. Geez!!!
