No one would massacre 32 people for a persoanl grudge. It may be politically motivated like the 9-11 attack.
His political motive should be investigated. His videos and letters mailed to NBC clearly indicate that his act was politically motivated.

In his political manifesto, he railed against wealth, materialism, privileged class, debaucheries and Christian hypocirisy. Calling himself as Ismael Ax also supports his political conviction. His mentality is same as the 9-11 attacker.

His political message should be regarded as important. Don't just dismiss him as deranged. Further investigation into his suicide attack should look into this aspect.

Very well put & you hit the nail right on the head. Others may think as he does, & hopefully, they won't act upon their feelings, as he did.

April 16 = 4+1+6= 11. 2007 = 2+7 = 9.

11/9, or

9/11.

Any more questions?

..the difference is 9-11 was a terrorist attack. The VA shooting was a person whose own convictions and ideals lead him to go on a rampage. Give me a few drinks and I rail against christian hypocrasies, privileged class, wealth and the such, but they're things that to me, personally, i have a problem with. It doesn't mean that I'm going to go on a rampage and take out my issues on innocent people. Even if it were politically motivated, i would NEVER compare this as another 9-11 attack.

TImothy McVee...

some people would massacre 32 (and more) people on a personal grudge. If your gonna include this as some far flung act of terrorism, don't you have to include the Oklahoma City Bombing as well... That was an even bigger tragedy, purpetrated by a similair psychological character type. This isn't terrorism, this is simply homegrown psychopathy.

Let me answer this with a question.

Is every national tragedy from here until the end of time going to be mathmaticly or morally associated with 9/11?

Are we really that bored of a nation that we have no other way to entertain ourselves?

Examine the facts, and then reassess the situation.

His political message should be regarded as important???
That's one of the top 5 conspiracy theories I've heard about this tragedy so far. Why don't we let the proper authorities and experts figure this out?

We should be comforting and praying for the families of these poor kids.

He was a nut job, idiot, psycho, punk LOSER, and to give him any kind of a motivation or purpose beyond not being able to see the world past the end of his nose is to do a huge disservice not only to his victims, but to the victims of 9/11 as well. Shame on you.

This was done by a mentally deranged man, nothing more. Of course it is an attack of terror but not 911 related.

This incident doesn't need hype and conspiracy theories. It was the act of metally ill young man. He took the lives of over 30 people. We should not be concerned about blame and goofy terror theories. We need to comfort the families and friends of the fallen. We need to find away to help others before they act out the demons in their minds.

I value your opinion but the facts so far stand out that the individual was mentally unstable. Acted on his own and had no political agenda except his own. Rage, sadness and hope for attention in death perhaps he felt he never got on Earth.
God Bless US all.
