Too many things to list even in a book. The fact that I was through chance or perhaps through a higher power born into a life of freedom and luxury which a good majority of the world will never know is #1. I am thankfull I can eat today and can drive my new car I bought by working at my good job I had the oppertunity of securing. The air is clean and the sky is beautifull..
Just to name a few.

I am thankful for so much!
I am thankful that I live in a free country. No one tells me what to wear, who to worship, or that I am not entitled to an education just because I am a woman. I also don't have to worry about some nut job throwing acid on me, or burning me alive, or stoning me to death - we frown on such things in America.
I am thankful for my family. I got *very* lucky - I have amazing parents who were excellent examples to us kids. They are still happily married (50 years in August!). They volunteered in the community, and they taught us to help out the less fortunate.
I have 4 older brothers who have incredible women in their lives. (3 are married, 1 isn't) That means I also now have 4 sisters - and I love them dearly.
I have an excellent job that pays decently and gives me summers off.
I have wonderful friends who stand by me, no matter what.
I have the best damned horse on the planet - best therapy money can buy. I also have 3 incredible dogs - each a blessing.
LOL I could go on and on - I am a very fortunate person.

I agree, we do need some positive energy :). I am very thankful today that my son, away at college, is safe. I am thankful that I live in the United States, despite our difficulties, there is no better place on Earth. I am thankful for our military, who I think of every day and who fight on for their country in the heat of all of our infighting about this war. I am thankful for my family, my friends, and my hard working husband, who I love to distraction after 15 years of marriage. I am thankful for many things, thanks for reminding me of that today!

That I have a good job, make plenty of money to support my lifestyle. That I have a great house, three cars and money in the bank.
I am also thankful that I am relatively healthy for my age... And that I live in the greatest country in the world... The USA!

My wife. Sunshine. My grandson.
And living in a wonderful midwestern small town where people can still leave their doors unlocked if they like, and you know your neighbor, and everyone's not jabbering about VT.

Waking up to my beautiful wife and kids. Being able to go to work for them. And, being smart enough to attempt to answer some people's questions, at lunch time...lol
