No! you can get pregnant without orgasm, being raped, when condoms break, when your birth control pill fails to improper use or medication interaction, using contraceptive jells, foams, diaphrams have hirher failure rates. You can get pregnant right after a tubal ligation if you have already ovulated. Tubal ligation can fail if the tubes regrow together. You can get pregnant by a man who has had a vasectomy within the last year. Usually six months is the timeline but i have hear of it happening. A mans vasectomy can repair itself and he can become fertile again. You can also get pregnant without penetration if he gets any body fluids near your vaginal area or on his hands then places them there. I knew of a teen couple this happened too they thought they were being safe. You can get pregnant after taking teh morning after pill if you did not get it in time. It is also not that highly effective. I got pregnant after taking the MAP after a date rape. I was also on a chemo routine that is the same drug combo that ru486 the abortion pill. despite methotrexate and being told in no way would the baby live my 5 yr old guy is righ tnext to me here as i type.

So get yourself well educated and informed. Visit your Planned Parenthood or local public health clinic for proper medical evaluation and education on what is the right choice for you. I was a single mom fo ra long time, I have paid my dues. so I wish you the best!

*Sigh*...getting pregnant has NOTHING to do with achieving an orgasm. The MALE does not even need to have one. During sex, most if not all males release a pre-ejaculate, a small amount of semen that contains an even HIGHER concentration of sperm than the ejaculate after orgasm. So it is VERY possible for pregnancy to occur when a male does not even climax, and this is the very reason why the withdrawl method (not using protection, but taking it out before orgasm) is full of holes. Sure it reduces the amount of sperm released, but there are still sperm in there.

The answer to your question is no, but it does help if the female receives the orgasm after the male has semen. Since the cervix dips down during an orgasm it dips into the semen. This way, the semen doesn't have to swim as far and she has a great chance of getting pregnant. That's the way I got pregnant after months of trying with my husband. ^_^

No, for some reason people think that. This is going to sound awful, but think about women who get pregnant from rape...i am sure they didn't have an orgasm. All it takes if one night, one minute and the guys sperm.

No, but it helps sperm motility if she is a little excited, because the fluid helps the sperm get to the tubes.

Actually old wives' tales suggest that if you want a boy, the woman should not climax. I don't believe it, though.

Nope. The woman doesn't have to orgasm. All that is needed is some ejaculated sperm to reach the egg and fertilize it.

no, in fact you can get pregnant without either man or woman having one. Though the man has to be close...

No, and actually the male doesn't have to have an orgasm either. Sperm can be released before ejaculation and there have been people who have no orgasm accompanying their ejaculation.

No, you don't have to have an orgasm to get pregnant, in fact neither person has to orgasm. There is sperm in pre-ejaculate also.
