In 2001, according to The Independent, the Black population of Britain was estimated at 1.28 million. The overall population at that time was just shy of 60 million, which puts percentage of Black population at slightly over 2%. Most of British Blacks are first- and second-generation immigrants from former British colonies in Africa and the Carribbean.

France does not collect race information on its census, nor does it collect information about heritage other than the birthplace of a person's parents. So precise estimates of the size of the Black population in France do not exist. Whatever estimates there are, are based on immigration data and assumptions about family size. The Representative Council of Black Organizations (Le Conseil Représentative des Associations Noires, or CRAN), a French NGO, estimates that there are between 2.5 and 5 million Blacks residing in France, which, given France's population of just over 60 million, translates into 4-8% of the population. Similarly to Britain, most of French Blacks are first- and second-generation immigrants from former French colonies in Africa and the Carribbean.

Germany has a much smaller Black population; there are about 100,000 Afro-Deutsche (German citizens of African descent) and about 200,000 foreign Blacks living in Germany, a very small percentage of Germany's 82-million population.

i feel that it because there is no respect anymore for anyone who is a law enforcement officer these days. yes there is a small percent of individuals who should not be police officers and they do cloud the picture for those officers who are honest and caring individuals. i have witness people get totally p/oed when stopped for violating the law and they start yelling at the officer even though they were at fault. i worked as a correctional officer for a long time and asked a inmate about how he felt about cop killers and was surprised when he said that they were not well liked since it was the police officer who was protecting his family while locked up. so what it boils down to is that in this country, respect is going out the window everyday and the men and women who are out there protecting and enforcing the laws of the land are now becoming targets for those that they are sworn to protect.
