s it easier getting a job as Mcse Administrator or RedHat Administrator?

What are the learning curves for both?
I see a lot of Mcse offers but a lot of people have M$ certifications so what could be my best career path?
Windows Administration or Linux Administration.
I am 47 and changing career so I am really careful on making my decision now. I was wondering about Web Development but I am thinking System Administrator in Windows or Linux might be a more practical path for me in regard of my age. So Windows or Linux guys?? Thanks.

After a series of problems with my back, a disc that played yo-yo, I went from installation work to PC network admin, didn't have the money (too much sick time) for courses, I aimed towards the Linux side because this suited most of the networks I maintained, I started at about 50. There is hope for anyone.

It's realistic. It's exhausting. I was a mainframe administrator. The background "context" helped. The learning curve is a long and winding road from base usage on...took me about 7 years, but I was distracted by webmastering and drinking and also attention span...I started as a tech writer years ago. Go for it!
