HELL YES i think they're out of hand!! But HEY....doesn't the media ALWAYS overplay everything?? Take a look at the Amish School thing.....How about Columbine??.....Then of course we have the world trade center thing.....How about the Anna Nicole Smith thing?? I completely agree with you.....although i feel for the victims......there's only SO MUCH one can take......i'm pretty sure that crime and good deeds didn't stop happening in the world because of these tragedies! Give em time and they'll be selling chunks of the school to raise money (supposedly) for the families!

With mass media being available like the air you breathe, they will suck this dry until something else comes along. I feel they should leave this matter alone and talk about ways to prevent things like this from happening by talking about school bullying and mental health issues. I mean what happened, happened and sometimes people are dumbfounded and trying to figure it out is like a Pandora's Box, who knows what can come out of this....my bet is a movie on Lifetime or a indie flick that will get a lot of awards.

This is the biggest mass shooting in American history. This is probably second in importance only to the 9/11 attacks in American history for this DECADE. This is HUGE story. It took 21 days for the WTC not to be the top news story of the night (I know - I watched this for some weird reason), and it will be a while before the story "goes away" off of the airwaves, although for the victims and their families this story will NEVER "go away". I see it over and over on here today - its the "kill the messenger" mentality, and we need to grow out of it... forever.

Yes, I do. It has got to be even harder on the families and Friends of the victims. The media will stay on this until something else big comes along. All I can say is, Thank God for Cable.

Not yet. but I don't have time for tv. In my opinon they are giving that kid an excuse by saying he was picked on. Throughout history kids has been picking on other kids. It's a part of growing up. Why all of the sudden is it an excuse to murder? I just don't get it!!! No matter who you were you got picked on by somebody at some point. I think that parents need to teach their kids that this is just not acceptable behavior. When I was really little I would throw myself on the floor and cry that I couldn't get up. My parents said it was weird so I stopped doing that.

yes i feel the same way as u. the media just keeps reporting this forever but im not really sure what good it does for anyone of the victims families or friends but to just keep opening wounds. Let them mourn in their privacy not scattered over 5 or more tv stations.

Totally, He had a mental issues past, authorities neglect him till he became a psyco and took it against inocent people, period! We need to move on also the victims relatives and this round the clock coverage does not help at all.

Personally, I think all the coverage is VERY unfair to the victims and their families. How can they even take one step forward from this if it is in their face every minute of everyday? Sad really. My prayers go out to all involved.

yeah i agree
If the media has so much information on htis just share it for one day.
honestly i feel that the more they keep talking about this people are going to start trying to be copycats. i feel for the families and i had to write a letter to them ths morning as a class assignment. i send my condolenses but i feel it's a little too much. it's okay to share but not as much as their doing.
