So many! Don;t feel like you need to pick the perfect one. Just pick something. I know this doesn't help much, I'm just saying that you don't really need inspiration, a stock topic will work fine. Relax and choose whatever you like.

There are lots. Few are the examples -
1) Crop circles
2) Bermuda triangle
3) UFO's in Area 51
4) Pyramids of Giza, their structure, why & how were they built etc.
5) Milk drinking statues of India - there wasn't any sign of chemistry like capilarity involved in it as the trunk of the god didn't have an opening
6) Ghost of Lincoln (don't choose this. I've written it because I'm only 13)
7) Virgin mary weeping blood
8) Aura - are they real?

I've given you the search engine. Write any of the topic and you'll get the information.

Read a book on the Bermuda Triangle. There are several dozen good mysteries, some with partial explanations, that originate there.

The possible origins of the Mayan calender. Bible codes and the Next prophesied Yellowstone Caldera eruption and Scientific data that possibly supports it. Supposedly this is September of 2009 thru 2010.

The mystery of quantum mechanics is great. Also possibly God. Although that would assume belief in God.

I guess the brain is a great mystery too.

How the pyramids were built. This one has been around for a long time, but I think someone just recently proposed a solution. (ramp on the inside of the pyramids, spiraling around)

Alien abductions? I would recommend author Budd Hopkins (Missing Time, Intruders)

Can sets of twins who talk at the same time, finish each other's sentences send their thoughts to one another? (telepathy) I could think of some simple experiments.
