What I mean is this: I browse through the questions and then you get some people that leave some of the most hateful answers such as...what a dumb question and "who cares" and the such.... very rude....not not ?

Not only that, but there are categories that could be wonderful places to debate real issues but because of trolls, I can't even go there anymore. Women's issues is a case in point. Instead of discussions of equality, careers, childcare, etc, there are all these stupid sex questions. It's very sad.

Perhaps they do, or mebbe they're just having a "bad hair day". Sometimes as an answerer you gotta feel kind of weird answering the question that asks, "where do I find the letter K?" (and even perhaps doesn't spell the question correctly or use correct grammar) even though you truly feel the desire to help...

So I guess we have to give the crude answerers some space, unless we're willing to take the (exhausting) time to monitor, say, one abusive answerer over and over to see a pattern of abuse...

I do. I get the impression that some people are here just to put other people down and nothing else. I just figure these people feel bad about themselves and want other people to feel bad, too. I've gotten to the point where I completely ignore their answers.

YEAH, AND I THINK ITS UNCALLED FOR.
ITS NOT LIKE PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.
