The lakers have a very good chance of getting past the Suns. remember they were only a REBOUND away last year from closing out the suns. The Lakers need to figure out how to play defense though. This year they have let so many games slip away due to lack of defense. Kobe will break 50 points at least once in a Lakers win. Phoenix can't stop him. no one can. We are finally healthy and have the fire power to do it! i believe that if we get our defense together than we will win this series.

They gave them a heck of a run last year. I'd say that if Kwame can bring some offense and more importantly if Lamar can step up and contribute, we'll have enough guys scoring to keep up with the Suns offensive barrage. However, if they don't all step up on the defensive end, Nash and the guys are going to eat us for breakfast. I'd also like to see Phil start Farmar over Smush. Farmar has been playing great and I think he's got much better feet to chase Nash around for the entire game, plus he makes better decisions on the offensive end as well. I'm hoping they can at least steal a few games from the Suns. Will be fun either way.

No. Everyone is talking about Kwame showing up or someting but you forget whos back. Amare is back. Lakers couldn't beat them last year without Amare and now that hes back and they have a post presence that can demand double team and 4 three point shooters on the floor. Its gonna be so hard for them that I am just gonna go ahead and say NO.

NO the Phoenix Suns vs Kobe should be the question. The Suns have too many players who can decide games while the Lakers only have one. No contest- Suns in 5or6.

No Kobe will most likely break 40, but the pheonix suns defence is far superior specially with all the practice they have had all year against the Mavs and such teams who have really made them prepare for a game such as the one against the Lakers....Suns will most likely get very far porobably into the Champonship.

if parker is able to deny steve nash from driving in the lane and shooting 3's than yes they have a good chance. Kobe will score atleast 50 points in one of the games.

Hahahahaha look at how they played the suns last. Kobe didn't break 30. The suns know how to shut kobe down and if they keep odom quiet and walton doesn't have a good night. I think its not going to be a blowout but i know that when it comes down to it Kobe will be a nonfactor.

They need to get in the paint more against the suns like last year, and make sure whoever guards Nash stays on him, and help switch defense especially on nash and stoudeimire picks,
i think the lakers can do it
