They say you should feed fish a few times a day, if I were you and many people have told me, but I feed my fish once in the morning right when i wake up and then once at night right before i go to bed, so i think that would be your best bet. But dont forget to clean out any extra leftover food because it will turn into waste. And yoiu should get nutrafin brand food, if they have it specifically for ryukins then go ahead and get it but the nutrafin for tropical fish would fit just fine

I feed mine twice a day, once in the morning after turning on the light & once in the evening a few minutes before turning off the light. Ryukin are a type of goldfish, so be aware of amonia levels in your tank. Test often & do water changes accordingly. Feed a good quality goldfish food.

Twice a day. In the morning and in the evening. Do not overfeed. Never more than they can eat in about 2-3 minutes. Goldfish flakes or pellets should be fine. Just make sure if your fish are really small that they can actually eat the pellets. They will beg for food and make you think they are hungry. Don't believe them, they are convincing little actors! :-)

I also agree with twice a day feedings for most fish. I feed once in the morning with flake of pellet food and once in the evening with special treat type foods.
I would suggest a good quality goldfish pellet such as Hikari brand for your staple food and feeding fresh vegetables for 4-5 meals per week. Peas, lettuce, spinach, green beans, squash... all of those make good goldfish food.

2 or3 times daily. Sprinkle just a little. Within 3 minutes,if all food is eaten ,you can give a little more. Use flakes, pellets, worms, krill, and occasionally, bits of cooked peas.
