You can't tell me all those girls are going to give their baby up for adoption. Many will keep their baby and taxes will have to be raised to help pay for the baby. Are conservatives willing to have their taxes raised????????????? I know how much you guys love your taxes as low as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude1988, you are showing your ignorance on this subject. My solution for this would be
1) keep your legs closed if you are not willing to take on the responsibility of children. That is a known risk if you have sex.
2) If you decide to have sex, get some type of birth control. Condoms cost about $0.30 cents each and it is much cheaper to buy condoms vs. having an abortion. Where does the money come from for this?
3) If you don't like condoms, have the girl pay a fee to have an IUD or some type of implant to prevent pregnancy. I would much rather see the tax money go to birth prevention vs. aborting a pregnancy.

The new low dose birth control pills are not reliable. My friends daughter went to planned parenthood to get her birth control and she ended up getting pregnant anyway. You have to take those things at the same time each day or else they don't work effectively.

The liberals have also been touting that sex education works. If sex education works, why are these girls getting pregnant in the 1st place? Obviously the girls are not listening if they are getting pregnant after being educated.

As a conservative, I am willing to pay an additional tax to bring the medical fees to bring that child's life into the world and give the kid, through adoption, to someone who will love it. Why do you think we have people going to Brazil, China, Russia, etc. for babies? We don't have enough babies in the adoption roles for people who cannot have them due to medical problems. We also have too many people on welfare who shouldn't be having children. But that is another topic.

I have doubts that liberals see us that way at all. What you did is to try and drop a wrecking ball down and hit a nail. When has the government ever gave more money to the wealty? They take it away, conservative just want to allow them to keep some of what they have to create a better economy. You seem to think that when we talk about the rich being the job creaters that means we go out and do all of the hiring. The truth is that the wealth invest money so that middle income people can then borrow to open or expand small businesses. Do you think that Apple Computer started with government money? It started with Steven Jobs selling his HP calculator and Steve Wozniak selling his VW Bus to buy enough parts to build a computer. Then they took it to another newly created company called Byte Shop, showed them what they created and got orders for a couple hundred units. They didn't have the money to produce those units so they went to venture capitalists (aka RICH GUYS) and borrowed money from them. Now what if those rich guys didn't have any extra money to risk on investing? How many jobs did those rich guys create because they had that money available for risk?

Why is liking lower taxes and less government a bad thing to you libs? Besides if the libs in power get their way and their latest tax proposal is put into law then what you are talking about won't matter that much. I just can't put abortion in the same context as politics. And I have no right to judge any ones choice what they do with their unborn baby. That's between them and God. But statistics show that most abortions happen from reasons like "I am too young to have a baby" or "I already have too many kids" rather than life threatening circumstances for the potential mother. In other words most abortions are for convince rather than necessity

It is highly unlikely that abortion will ever be made illegal. Even if Roe was overturned, 2/3 of the states already had laws making abortion legal at that point. It would merely de-federalize the issue. Some states might face tax increases or they could re-direct the money they were forced to spend giving abortions (it was an unfunded mandate) to other areas.

The issue is not necessarily about taxes or about some girl keeping her child (which I doubt if she wanted to kill them anyway). The issue is truly personal responsibility. It’s the think before I act process – it’s the take responsibility for my actions. Most conservatives who pay taxes will gripe about it (as almost everyone will) but understand it is required to keep programs in place. The issue usually is they don’t agree with the programs they are paying for.

This is why most conservatives give more to charitable organizations (by quite a multiple) than liberals. They don’t see this type of work as the governments place and don’t want to fund the government to see it done.

The government is just not good at doing things well.

Why should my taxes go up. If some girl wants to be a slut, let her and her boyfriend be forced to work and support their crotch fruit. If they cannot afford it, have the state take the kids away from them and have them sterialized.

We could take all male children and raise them as soldiers like in that movie Soldier. The girls we could sterialize and raise as companions for our "soldiers"
