Yes, but did Atlantis ever exist? Probably not, or at least not in the way we think of it.
I'd like to go back to the time of Jesus and his last supper and figure out what was and what happened to the Holy Grail. Here we are almost two thousand years down the road and we still can't figure that one out yet.

I think id like to go back to Ancient Greece. So much was happening there, and there were so many peoples - Athenians, Spartans, Corinthians. I'd would be really good - witness the greatest flourishing of culture, and some of the greatest battles, in history.
Or maybe I'd see Jesus, and say hi.

I'm torn between England at the time of Elizabeth I or the colonies at the time of the Revolution.
I'd love to meet Elizabeth and hang out with John Adams.
Great question and so many possible answers.

I'd go back to the start of Rome. I want to see how that city started.
If not that far back, I'd probably go back to being 6 years old. That was a pretty good time!
** this was a good question, very thought provoking :)

I'd love to go to London around 1870 or so. I think it would be neat to be a Lady around that time. The Fashion, the parties, the dancing, the food, just for a month or so.

I'd head for ancient Ionia, to study the beginnings of democracy, what life was like for the first free men, and what lessons their people have to teach our citizens--who have forgotten the difference between regulation-based rights they can claim and tyrants handing them privileges.
I'd like to see the architecture, talk to their leaders, study their marketplaces, shipping, hear and see their arts and spend a month living exactly as they did inconveniences, outdoor discomforts, foods and all.
