What kinds of things are there to do in Cedar Rapids/Marion, Iowa? I know that there are a lot of bars, but what other activities and things to do are there other than the bars?

Buy meth. j/k. Well, there are two malls, movie theaters, some dining, um, I can't think of anything else. If you can get down to Iowa City (about 15 miles south), you'll have a BLAST! Much more scenic, much more to do, and it's so laid back and liberal. In IC there are two malls, but the biggest one is the Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville. There's even an ice skating rink in it. Walk the Pedmall in downtown IC. Lots of vintage shops, bookstores, bars, little tiny cafes, coffeeshops. You don't say when you're going to be there, but if the season's right, take in a Hawkeye game. They also have excellent perfoming arts there. I went to college near IC/CR, and IC was always the better choice for things to do. And the people-watching is always fun!
