I am a masculine guy and I don't want everyone knowing I'm gay like my cousin, Aaron. He is my age, 20 years old. Anyway, sometimes when we're watching TV, there will be a really hot guy on the screen. Anyway, I will struggle to sit still but I can't. I immediately flinch or start moving around. In fact, it happens everytime there's a handsome or cute guy on television. I know he notices my moving. I don't know if he's thought about it enough to connect it to everytime there's a cute guy, I am moving around in my chair because I can't sit still. Anyway, do you think I am giving it away? Could you be able to tell I was gay? If there was a gorgeous guy on TV and the person next to you switched positions in their chair and his foot and leg twitched suddenly out of nowhere or his arms twitched suddenly out of nowhere, would you think he was gay? Does this ever happen to you?

Yeah, this sounds a bit paranoid to me. If your cousin is gay then he will know what you're going through and will know what it's like to come out. You don't have to come out to him (yet) but you could at least discuss the possibility that you might be gay with him- i'm sure he will be much more understanding and receptive to your fears than other family members of friends.

Do straight guys flinch/fidget when a gorgeous chick comes onto the screen? Do ladies flinch/fidget when a cute guy comes onto the screen? I've never noticed and I'm sure most other people, straight or gay, have not noticed this kind of behaviour either: they're too busy watching the film!! don't worry about whether other people notice your flinching- unless it's really pronounced i am sure they won't.

I maximum oftentimes use flat iron spray from Redken. that is extremely common and sounds like a hairspray bottle. the colour of the bottle is gold and you'd be waiting to get it at extremely any food market (Walmart, aim, etc.) in the ask your self isles. All you're able to do is take the strand you're straightening, spray it, straighten it, and brush it out. that is that smart. It continues to be for me all day and at the same time as i'm snoozing! I want this helped :)

That's too funny that you ask that. I actually have used this to check out supposed gay guys. I look to see if they look at me any certain way or get uncomfortable if I touch them or look at them. But a friend of mine that I thought was gay I use to watch and see who he looked at as far as like pretty girls or really hot guys. He used to do both so it throught me off. I'm thinking just tell him and maybe you guys could work through this "gay" thing to gether. everybody has to come out eventually, and I think you should have someones hand to hold. It can be a very emotional and struggling process. Good luck buddy!

There's a good possibility you might be giving yourself away...especially since you're sitting next to another gay guy. A lot of us gay guys tend to notice little things like that.

Why don't you want to come out to your cousin?

I have never gotten nervous like that but I am sure others have.

Are you expecting (or hoping) your cousin to make a move on you? He may have an inkling that you are gay but has no interest in an incestuous relationship (I am sure it does happen though). Maybe he is hoping you'll make on move on him (just a thought).

Just be yourself (with your nervousness and all).

that's funny you mention that because I wonder if my friends wonder the same thing about me. I too flinch when I see cute women in public or on t.v.... I can't help it! People who say you can choose being gay are so wrong about that!

heheh we are both paranoid. It's all good though! Just be yourself. :)

Why are you afraid of people knowing that you are gay? If someone doesn't want to associate with you because you came out; then this person was never a true friend to begin with.

How long do you plan to wait to "come out" ? Stop faking you will be miserable your whole life. But as far as your question I doubt that I would notice unless you were just trip spazzing and stuff, I would probably just think that you had too much caffeine etc.

Dude be comfortable with yourself and this will stop. It's weird behaviour straight or gay.

Gay is not a big deal, get over it, stop focusing on it. That stranglehold is what's causing the twitching.
