Most of their fave pop stars lip sync??
Do they care that when they see them "lie", it's a freakin recording they're paying for?
eg: Ashlee freakin Simpson...

The difference with lip syncing today vs the past is that the practice is pretty much the norm today. That wasn't the case back then. It was the *exception*. Otherwise, the singers of the past delivered the Real Thing 9 times outta 10.

well fly by night!!! i don't think that they give a rat's anus that the music contains miniscule traces of thinking or talent. most of today's popular music is sofa king terrible imho.
if you can dry-hump to it on a dance floor or drive your rusty chevy truck to it, it's a hit

That's nothing new. The music industry has been doing this for years. It is the only way to insure that if the preformer screws up on stage that you will hear the music as it should be. I know that doesn't make much since, but I'm 51 and back when Alice Cooper was popular he used to do the same thing and so did Led Zeplin.

Ashlee Simpson gives those of us with acid reflux a bad name.
Music, in general, has been horrible for well over a decade, minus a few exceptions. Pop music hasn't been good since the 80's.

I dont think anyone cares anymore! All these pop stars are just good looking with no talent. Other people write these songs, they go into a studio and try to sing them, the modify their voices on a computer and make it sound really good, then **** this stuff out for people to eat it all up!
In today's world, its nothing about how well you can do something or how much talent or personality you have, its just about looking good! Its all about looks now
Ashley and Jessica Simpson can go to hell!

Probably not!! Just proof that the old saying "the masses are a@$*!"still applies.I agree totally with ya.Respect to people who write their own songs, and actually play their own instruments. Most of these "trend" bands will be gone soon enough...once the record companies find something else we "should be listening to"....

Lip syncing is a crime? Guess who else is guilty? Greg Lake, Geddy Lee, Steve Walsh, Steve Morse, Roger Waters, Jon Anderson, Dennis DeYoung, Robert Plant, Tom Petty, Steve Perry, David Bowie, Sting, Roger Daltry, and Boz Skaggs, et al. Lip synching is and always has been part of the music business. Even the Everly Boys did it.

I don't listen to pop anymore. I'm a rock, punk, punk-rock fan. And they don't lipsync. And I'm one of the "kids of today" because I am under the age of 18.
Not all of us are stupid, and paying to see someone mouth along to music.

No, they're really going there to get some human contact, maybe even if they're really lucky to get someone to hug them.
