I am a big fan of best answer comments.. They are sometimes fun to read.. I don't care about best answers though, just the points..

There are so many different prespectives on anything nowadays and people do give very good answers that it is hard or near to impossible to pick a best answer. And anyway, if we are here to help each other then it does not matter whether we are given the best answer all the time but it is nice to be appreciated once in awhile and rewarded for our efforts.

wasn't at the start but it's nice when other users choose your answer as 'best answer', especially if it's helped someone out..plus I like looking at others 'best answers' to see others opioins of things & get some knowledge ; ) some 'best answers' can be pretty funny too.

It's nice to get best answers. But it's not the most important thing either. To me I just like answering and asking questions on here. I like trying to help people whether it be by getting them the information that they want or trying to cheer them up or help them out in any way whatsoever. If I get picked as best answer then that's just a bonus for me.

I wouldn't call myself a fan because that would be an exaggeration. Best answers are a little more interesting than the whole questions section.

YES. I get on YAHOO Answers every day and all day. In three days I've went from 420 points to 678. I thing I'm one of the best fans in USA.

Yes. You get lots of points for providing best answer and you get the right information (the best answer ;) lol) by reading the best answer.
