In my search, I am of the opinion that it is a way for him to have his ranch, and get others to pay for it. Please prove me wrong with documentation. His costs are 10X what others do the same thing for.

I know it is a good thing he is doing, but $2.6 million on just 100 kids?

That seems to be not good stewardship of the resources. There are many children that could use what he has to offer.

It's not a vacation spot. It has been a working ranch dedicated to children with cancer and other blood disorders.
The ranch had been probed for possible malfeasence but the case was closed. The probe could find no wrong doing or find where the Imus's received payment while there. I know he has used his own plane to pick up and transport the kids to the ranch. That can a bit costly. These children are pampered more at this ranch than at any of the others with similar programs. Therein lies the difference in cost.

I detest Imus with a passion. Not for what he did recently, but I think he suks as a jock.

BUT !! His Ranch has been helping those who would not normally be able to get the help from other charities.

Speaking of waste...why not use "Moral Law" to point a finger at the 20-50 X above average our own government spends to "support" the poor in our country.

Keep in mind, the kids that come to the ranch are basically on their deathbed. Not only are they pampered to the extreme, the facilities cost alot to keep up and also they must have medical services undoubtedly. Whatever is going on there, it is still a great thing.
