Why did the supreme court go against Roosevelt(FDR) and his New Deal? I don't really think there was any reason to object. This basically not only helped the lower and the middle class but it also helped entire economy itself. Why would they object to this?

The person with the best explanation to why they opposed the idea gets 10 points(if you can though).

Many of the reforms FDR wanted to make were simply not Constitutional. The Federal Government only has the powers specifically enumerated in the Constitution. It specifically reserves all else to the States and the People.

As a result, he tried to pack the Supreme Court by increasing the amount of justices so he could fill the spots with his own people. It was probably as close to becoming a tyranny that America has ever come. Fortunately, cooler heads in both parties prevailed and Congress denied his request.

Just because something works is no reason to do it. The constitution must be obeyed or you have tyranny. The economic results are the subject of debate. Many experts believe the economy was saved by the War.
