I would choose Nicaragua (in Central America) because they recently re-elected president Ortega who has communist tendencies. (He's good friends with Venezuela's president Chavez and Cuba's dictator, Castro.) During Ortega's previous presidential period, Nicaragua was in a civil war for over 10 years, and the Nicaraguan people were, and still are in extreme poverty because of the war.
I would Grant Nicaragua a Democratic president who cares for the county's people.

I'd grant America an open mind, because the prejudice in every aspect of life, from race to size to religion, seems overwhelming. But then again, I suppose that's the way it is all over the world, maybe I should grant America a president with a few more braincells.
And Africa is not a country, it is a continent.

Beautiful question, would be nice if this could actually generate something positive. I would grant the United States humility. We seem to lack that because we constantly think we are the greatest.
P.S. America is not a country
