The Mash Movie and TV show are completely different you wouldn't spoil either one. Personally I like the Tv show because thats what i grew up with and am more familiar. I watched the movie but i found it confusing and hard to follow without the familiar faces in it.

No, not at all. I liked the TV show better than the movie personally. You will find the characters a little different on the TV show, but I think you will enjoy watching the movie first.

No, watch the movie. It's very funny. The first few seasons of the TV show are also very funny but once McClain Stevenson left it kind of went down hill. At the end it was just preachy.

The movie came out first so many people saw the t.v. show last. The characters are the same, just played by different people. I have never watched it but my dad is it's biggest fan.

i've known people that have done it both. (one person watched movie first; one watched show first, etc.)
opinions from both? the movie will spoil the show and, on the flip side, the movie can't compare to the show. ::shrug::
(i personally choose the show over the movie!)

Watching the movie will not affect your viewing of the television show. They are both great.
