how can gay men and women support parties that are openly against the LGBT community it has been said that republican think that homosexuality is a physoligal illness and are against gay marriage.
You have the right to vote for who you wish but it took Ronald Regan 7 years to even admit that there is an illness called AIDS and its not a gay desease this desease does not care you are gay or straight.
I had a look at the Log Cabin Republicans website but it didn't really give any answers.

Simple, there's more to politics than the gay issue.

For example, in the next election here in Canada I'm voting Green party. I'm doing this because the Environment is a far bigger deal to me than GLBT issues right now. Because GLBT freedoms won't be any good if our living standard plummets.

So conservatives are sometimes good, you need 2 opposing parties minimum to force the fast change that we require in our first world countries. Without these parties it would stagnate fast.

For example, you need Conservative ideals in order for gay people to grow a pair and demand their gay rights, then when they vote in a friendlier government, they get those rights.

So they can act as a good force for change. And their values and morals are no less valid because of the one point.

We need diversity to grow, embrace it.

I think that's an excellent question. I'm a straight Democrat, but I once knew a bisexual Republican. I think that the reason why some gays vote Republican is because they are fiscally conservative and may perhaps be socially conservative in some areas, and they feel that the Republican Party platform mirrors their views more closely than that of the Democratic Party, even though the Democratic Party is normally more gay-friendly.

I had on no account heard of Senator Craig till now and that i stay in an adjoining state to his. So he's not precisely a well-known parent interior the information. The quote above became Leno's shaggy dog tale final night; it is not what occurred interior the restroom. Supposedly he tapped the foot of the guy interior the stall next to him. i became shocked to check that it is the "sign" utilized by adult males attempting to attach to different adult males. on no account heard of it till now yet i assume I lead a sheltered existence. till somebody comes forward and says they have been as quickly as his companion, i'm going to offer him the income of doubt. i do no longer think of a man or woman would desire to be tried by the media. If he's gay, i do no longer care (as long as he would not hit on me!); there are others interior the Senate who're brazenly gay. What i come across greater worrying is that if he has been 2-confronted approximately it. Lie approximately one subject and you on no account be attentive to if different statements are lies, too. this is asserted this is important continually tell the reality; this is greater straightforward to undergo in recommendations.

oh, err... i dunno =P im only 15, i dont reli care bout politics haha. but i suppose it would be that there are other policies that they like in the party that would make them want to vote for them, despite the fact that the party is against their orientation.... Qu'est que vous pensez de ça?
