sounds like he needs to take a trip to the doctor office or the ER. If he is throwing up all the time and with it having blood in it he could have a bleeding ulcer.

there's nothing wrong with his eating habbits. but he drinks a lot of pop (carbonated beverage) so that would just cause internal bleeding because it eats away the lining of your stomach. and if that happens the body will bleed and the body can't take blood so that's probally why he vomits. the belly button is the scar of birth and it's an indentation and there's no hole. he had to cut himself becsuse there's no way you could bleed from the belly button. he had to poke himself. your body just doesn't bleed externally without you messing with. in my opinion i think your bf is lying to you about the belly button thing. and don't try to believe the "i was bleeding from the stomach" story either because the tissue would break and he'll be dead by now. he is probally bulemic. you say he eats too much. that's bulemic right there. sticking his fingers down his throat to vomit the food up. you also says he's not fat but keeps in shape. that's another clue of bulemic.

Ok, first of all you can't feel your stomach and feel blood. There is a lot of fluid in the body so it can't definitely be blood unless you actually perform a biopsy or ultrasound. He may have some stomach problems though. He should see his MD and get a referral to a gastroenterologist. This is someone that specializes in everything from the throat all the way to the anus.

You can't get a diagnosis online for this type of problem - he needs urgent medical care. Go to your family doctor or the urgent care clinic. Don't go to the ER unless he's throwing up blood; it isn't an emergency, but it is urgent that he get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

It could be bad GERD (acid reflux). Your esophagus can become so inflamed that it swells and narrows, making it difficult to get food down. This will result in immediate vomiting. He should be seen soon, because he could get a perforation, which is life threatening. He could also be leaking blood slowly because of inflammation. He needs to see a GI doc., hopefully today.

You have to help - by packing him off to an ER, and the sooner the better. Don't give him the chance to say no. Go with and tell the doctors everything that you've seen and everything that he's said to you.

He should see a Gastroenterologist (I think I spelled it right).

Your BF needs to get an endoscopy to see what is going on in his upper digestive tract.
